The Typewritery is all about finding delight in the every day, creating unlikely connections, and getting a little outside your comfort zone.

Founded by writer and nonprofit communications professional, Kristina Pepelko, The Typewritery is on a mission to spark connections and foster community through artistic expression and experimentation.

We pop up online for 1-2 short-term opportunities per year during which you can order an original poem that will be delivered to you or your chosen recipient via postal mail.

We also pop up, from time to time, in public or invited spaces to create typewritten poems on the spot for folks just like you who want to engage with art and creativity.

Every poem order—whether in-person or online—supports a nonprofit organization through a portion of donated proceeds and allows you the chance to choose your price and topic.
